Blessings from above

We have a new baby in the family, Karson Eugene Deaton was born July 21 2011 at 01:16am and was 7 lb 9 oz and 19 1/2 in long. Lora and I went to the hospital with Jennifer Wednesday morning and we spend all day long with her in labor. Heavenly
Father blessed her by her having soft labor pains and then when they began to get stronger she was given a epidural and really did not feel much. I was able to be with her the whole time and I was able to watch as Karson was born and then cut the cord. I then watched as he was wiped off and I put his first diaper on him. Jennifer was a trooper through the whole thing and did a very good job. Heavenly Father blessed her with an easy delivery and a wonderful baby boy. He has belirubin and has been on a light for his first week of life but he is doing much better now. We are hoping he will released from that on Monday, his 11th day of life.
